The recent taxi protest by Gauteng taxi operators left thousands of commuters stranded after the main routes between Johannesburg and Pretoria were blocked.

Vicky Dagnel said, “No, they upset everyone, it’s ridiculous. Children can’t go to school. Come on, what’s wrong with them?”
Robby Venturini said, “No, it affects other people. Everyone should have a constitutional right to express their opinion, but it should not interfere with everybody else’s lives.”
