UPDATE: Truck crashes through R24 bridges, lands on Shelton Avenue

It is believed that a truck travelling on the R24 in an unknown direction crashed between two bridges on the R24 north and south and landed on Shelton Avenue, Harmelia.

The load which was on the truck is spread across Shelton Avenue.

Emergency services are on scene.

There is no confirmation of any injuries or fatalities.

A crash involving a truck on the R24 highway between Edenvale and Barbara Road is expected to cause major delays this afternoon.
