Youngsters celebrate with some early Easter fun

The Nomad Ranger Crew from Bedfordview organised and ran the campfire

Brownies, Guides and Rangers from Edenvale and Bedfordview celebrated Easter early with a campfire and Easter raffle at the Bedfordview Scout Hall on March 28.

The Nomad Ranger Crew from Bedfordview organised and ran the campfire.

First prize for the raffle was an enormous chocolate bunny, donated by De Backery in Edenvale.

Mckenzie Jones, of the 1st Edenvale Brownie Pack, sold the winning ticket to Ian Ruthven.

Jessie McKenzie, from the 1st Bedfordview Guide Company, won a prize for the most raffle tickets sold.

“Our thanks go out to De Backery and all the families and friends of the girls who supported the raffle and the campfire. Funds were raised for repairs at our regional headquarters in Rynfield,” said Karen Jones, an adult leader for the 1st Bedfordview Guides and Nomad Ranger Crew.
