There has been a fatal accident on the N12 West near Gillilooy’s Interchange.

UPDATE at 2pm: Reports are that traffic is backed up in both directions.

The accident, which was reported earlier, backed up traffic until the Kraft Road offramp.
Spokesperson for the Ekurhuleni Emergency Services, Mr William Ntladi, said one person died in the accident.
He will provide more details about the accident as soon as a preliminary report has been given to him.
The accident involved a truck, bus and motorcycle.
