WATCH: Bedfordview man foils robbery

Bedfordview homeowners and residents commended a Senderwood homeowner for foiling a robbery.
A video of the incident was shared on social media yesterday.
In the video, the homeowner is seen arriving home. Moments later, a blue car (hatchback) pulls up behind him in his driveway. A man exits the vehicle and points a gun at the guard. Shots are fired and the suspect runs back to his car.
“Thank God the guards stopped them [the car] or else they would have come in [where] my daughters and my baby [were],” said the homeowner in the video.
Police spokesperson, Captain Andre de Jager, could not confirm if a case had been opened with the Bedfordview SAPS.
