EDITOR – On behalf of everyone at the Edenvale SPCA we would like to thank our awesome community for once again supporting our Dogs Dinner Fund.
The wonderful amount of R123 000 was raised.
It is only with your generosity that we are able to look after all the animals in our care.
This money will go towards treatments, education and outreach and the general running costs of the SPCA throughout the year.
We would like to thank the Bedfordview and Edenvale NEWS for publishing the weekly donations.
Thanks must also go to our grooming parlours, Jolly Dog and Jiltons, who, without hesitation, are always willing to groom our dogs before they are placed in their new homes.
The transformation in some of our animals is unbelievable.
The public must be made aware that we have a special team of vets backing us and a big thank you goes out to Terrace Road Vet. Doctor Shabeer and your team, we truly appreciate all you do for our animals.
Thank you must also go to Harmelia and Eastleigh vets.
The entire Edenvale community (individuals, schools and businesses) who support us throughout the year must be acknowledged.
Your donations, adoptions, reporting of cruelty, the visits to the SPCA, the good stories that we share and the sad ones all make what we do very rewarding.
