Giving back to the community with free medical check-ups

"We want to make sure everyone is healthy."

Community members were given the opportunity to get a free medical check up on October 29 at the Edenvale Community Centre.
The event, which was hosted by the City of Gold Worship Centre, allowed community members to get a free medical check up.
Mr Steven Nkando, from the church, said community members could also get their sugar and cholesterol levels analysed.
He said all the doctors providing the screenings were qualified.
Pastor Ben Muka of the church said the event was a way of giving back to the community .
“This was the the fourth year we have hosted this event. We want to make sure that everyone is healthy,” said Mr Muka.
The event saw a number of services offered to the community, this included the screening of diabetes, cholesterol, HIV/Aids, blood pressure and hypertension.
