Holy Rosary High School won the 2016 Inter-Catholic Girls Athletics event for the 14th consecutive time on September 27.
The event took place at a University of Johannesburg Stadium.
Pupils took part in track and field events.
According to Ms Deidre Alcock, a marketer for Holy Rosary School, they won with 622 points. They were followed by Brescia House School with 557 points.
The other schools competing in the event included De La Salle Holy Cross College, Holy Family College, La Salle College, Marist Brothers Linmeyer, Maryvale College, Sacred Heart College, St Theresa’s School and Veritas College.
Holy Rosary’s athletes broke the following four records:
- Girls U/18 100m.
- Girls U/18 200m.
- Girls U/16 4X100m relay.
- Girls U/18 4X100m relay.
