School hosts expo

The event has been running since 2009.

The annual spring expo took place last Saturday at Bedfordview’s St Andrew’s School for Girls.

Members of the community were treated to a variety of stalls and plenty entertainment.

The event has been running since 2009.

For this year’s edition, the school received support from FNB bank which played a key role in making the day a success.

The event supports local businesses and trade and also benefits internal stakeholders, such as the rowing club and the matric dance committee, in their fundraising efforts.

Over 100 stalls were available showcasing fashion items, children’s toys, motor car displays, interior decorating, gifts and many more.

Children were treated to fun activities including 25 different rainbow inflatables including the 5m twister slide and the wipe out base jump; the ever-popular House of Horrors and a new toddlers’ play area.

There was also a food court catering for many culinary tastes.

Patrons had an opportunity to experience the lush gardens and rich history of the school.
