The race was hosted by Canoe Concepts and took place from the Makery in Henley on Klip, to the Danie Maclean Park in Meyerton

Bedfordview residents Anthony and Theresa Welsh completed the race in 1 hour 15 minutes, securing a 14th place finish.
Edenvale residents Michael and Christina Sears finished the race in 1 hour 11 minutes, securing a 12th place finish.
