Voting smooth in Bedfordview

All voting stations close at 7pm.

More than seven hours since voting started, some Bedfordview residents are still making their way to their respective voting stations.

Current ward councillor, Clr Jill Humphreys said residents who have not made their mark yet should make their way to the polls.

All voting stations close at 7pm.

Bedfordview High School, City Hall and the Scouts Hall are Bedfordview’s voting stations.

Clr Humphreys said no glitches have been reported at any of the stations.

“There’s a lovely atmosphere. People are excited and determined to vote,” she said.

Senior citizens at Arbor Village were transported to voting stations to make their mark.

Although the area is not a hotspot for a potential violent situation, Bedfordview SAPS is on standby at all stations.
