Cause of house fire still unknown

City of Joburg (CoJ) EMS spokesperson, Mr Robert Mulaudzi, said there were no injuries reported.

Johannesburg Emergency Services said the cause of the house fire in Bushwillow Estate on April 14 is still unknown.

Mr Mulaudzi said a crew was dispatched as soon as the call regarding the fire was received.

Mr William Ntladi, the media liaison officer for the Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services (DEMS), said EMS personnel responded to a structural fire after its was reported to the DEMS.

“The crew responded immediately and were on-scene. When the DEMS arrived, the Johannesburg emergency firefighters were on-scene, along with Alexandra and Modderfontein firefighting crews who were already extinguishing the blaze. The call was basically serviced by City of Johannesburg Emergency Services,” said Mr Ntladi.
