The 2016 Miss Hooters swimsuit pageant.

Jade will represent South Africa at the International Miss Hooters Swimsuit Pageant.

The seventh annual Miss Hooters swimsuit pageant was held at Hooters, in Emperors Palace on Saturday, April 9.

The doors opened at 1pm to allow supporters to find their seats.

Although the pageant only started at 4pm, the atmosphere before and during the pageant was great.

The event kicked off with the 20 contestants from various Hooter restaurants across South Africa introducing themselves to the audience. The second part of the pageant was evening wear, where the women showed off their finest evening dresses.

The last part of the pageant was the swimwear, where the women showed off their swimsuits and also had to answer questions from the judges.

Jade Hammond from Port Elizabeth took first place and was crowned Miss Hooters SA 2016. In second place was Chante van der Walt from Willows Crossing and third was Kay Zihle from Fourways.

Jade will represent South Africa at the International Miss Hooters Swimsuit Pageant, which will be held in Los Angeles later this year. She will compete against women from Hooters restaurants across the world.
