Bowling to raise funds
Bowlers and non-bowlers are welcome to enter a team of four. If the team entered has less than four members, they will be put into a team.
The Edenvale Bowling Club will host a fun game of bowls as a fundraiser to send two members to Bloemfontein to take part in a handicapped bowlers tournament.

The teams will meet at the Edenvale Bowling Club at 8:30pm on Saturday, March 5.
Mr Colin Winton, of the Edenvale Bowling Club, urged those who want to participate to submit their entries to Ms Jenny on 076 495 8748 or Chantal on 072 407 6796. The entry fee is R50 per person, including teas.
The club’s monthly sponsored trips competition was held on Friday, February 19 and the winning teams were: Lynda Hopkins, Alan/June Gilman (winners), Brian/Dawn Burls, Audrey Barcza (runners-up), Linda Gablitz, Heather Boner; Norma Salz (second session winners).
The sponsors were Fahrenheit Restaurant,7 Eagles Spur and The Brazen Head.
The club holds a sponsored trips competition on the third Friday of each month.
The next one will be on March 18.

“We are aiming to fill two greens, playing two games of 10 ends with nine prizes to be won. An entry fee of R20 per person will be paid at the club before the 2pm start,” said Mr Winton.
