Owner reaches out to staff and customers

I would just like assure those customers that we care and are extremely happy that no one was injured.

EDITOR – Following the robbery that happened at Pick n Pay on Terrace Road on February 19, I would like to thank a few people for their support during the traumatic experience.

After the incident happened, the store was cleared and unfortunately we did not have a list of names for the customers who were present at the time. I would just like assure those customers that we care and are extremely happy that no one was injured.

Their well-being is important to me. I am also happy and proud of the staff and customers who under extreme conditions complied during the robbery and as a result no one was harmed. Although I was not present during the robbery, when I arrived I was hurt to see my staff the way that I did.

I would therefore like to thank the Edenvale SAPS who arrived almost immediately, the CPF and ECPF’s Linda McKenzie for their assistance and support given to customers and the staff.

I would also like to thank Pick n Pay head office for their support and counselling on Friday and Saturday.

The community members who also reached out and visited the store to show their support to the staff does not go unnoticed.

We are very grateful to be in a community who reach out to one another. We hope that everyone who was involved is fine and know it was a huge traumatic experience for all.

PICK n PAY TERRACE ROAD,

MR SEMOS GEORGIADES,

EDENVALE.
