The family of a Bedfordview businessman murdered in the early hours of this morning has been notified of his death and are on their way from Cape Town.
This is according to Bedfordview SAPS spokesperson, Warrant Officer Mduduzi Nhlabathi.
He said the identity of the man will only be made public once the family has arrived and spoken to the police.
According to police, the man was killed in his home on Hill Terrace in Bedfordview. Information on the scene suggested that he was suffocated.
Police investigations are underway.
