UPDATE: Dowerglen crystal meth lab valued at R1-million
The man was previously arrested for running a similar operation from another property in the Avenues in Edenvale.
The Edenvale SAPS confirmed that a crystal meth lab bust in Dowerglen extension 4 in Edenvale last night was valued at R1-million.
Officers were following up on information received, which led them to a townhouse complex on Juniper Street.
One man was arrested at the scene.
The man was previously arrested for running a similar operation from another property in the Avenues in Edenvale.
The NEWS spoke to the father of the man arrested last night.
The emotional father said, “I am broken. I don’t know what to do with him anymore”.
The NEWS cannot at this stage name the man arrested as he has yet to enter a plea in court.
SAPS recovered drug manufacturing paraphernalia inside the house as well as chemicals used in the manufacturing of crystal meth.
