During a recent drug search at a high school in Edenvale, members of the Edenvale SAPS found drugs hidden inside an apple.
The apple was found in the possession of one of the school pupils.
Lieutenant Colonel Robbie Roberts said pupils at various schools are going to extreme measures to hide narcotics from teachers and officers.
