Ashleigh competes for Level 3 nationals

Ashleigh was awarded the senior victrix ludorum and full colours for swimming at the end of last year.

Ashleigh Stock is the first swimmer from the ESP Aquatic Academy to compete at the Level 3 Nationals in recent years.

While several swimmers from the club have qualified in the past, they have moved on to places such as New Zealand.

Ashleigh was awarded the senior victrix ludorum and full colours for swimming at the end of last year.

She currently holds two provincial records, and is the girls swimming team captain at Edenglen High School for 2015.

15 Aquatic Academy swimmers recently represented ESP at the Level 2 Northern Regionals, which took place at the Delville Pool over four days.

Teams from Tanzania, Namibia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, as well as all the clubs from Gauteng and Mpumalanga, participated in the event.

The EPS “legend numero uno” for 20156 is Kyle Mckenzie.

Although tired from competing in many heats and finals, Kyle won three medals at the event.

Other finalists include Savannah Mitchell, Jess Burgess, Murray Copeland, Colette Fourie, Storm Ryder, and Nicholas and Jonathan Smith.

ESP placed 24th out of 55 teams.
