Krejcir, a Czech Republic fugitive, was already in police custody awaiting trial on charges of kidnapping and conspiracy to commit murder.
Together with Mr Nkanyiso Mafunda and Mr Siboniso Miya, Krejcir appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’s Court last Friday where they were officially charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder and the unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition.
The four men, including Mr Simphiwe Memela who appeared after the trio, are accused of murdering Lebanese national Sam Issa, an alleged drug trafficker.
Issa was shot 30 times on October 12, 2013, while stopped at a traffic light on Bradford Road in Bedfordview.
The SAPS’ Lieutenant General Solomon Makgale said investigators have unearthed a lot of evidence which will be presented before the court.
According to Lt Gen Makgale, the evidence will indicate that Krejcir and many of his co-accused were involved in a number of criminal activities.
The case was postponed to April 8.
