SPCA phone lines struck by lightning

“When people phone in, it sounds like the phone is ringing, but as we only have one working line at the moment, the phone is actually engaged and is not ringing on our side,” said chairperson, Ms Michelle Falgate.

Ms Falgate said this is causing problems during emergency situations.

“Thankfully we received a donation of cellular phones and we had alternative lines set up. We urge the public to take note of these new contact numbers,” she said.
