Sebenza SAPS urges residents to remain alert

The Sebenza SAPS urged the community to cooperate with the police during the festive season to clamp down on criminal activities.

The SAPS announced that they are going to guard all hotspot areas, including the main exit routes and shopping centres in the area.

The Sebenza SAPS communications officer, Constable Sharon Mahamba-Tsotsotso, also requested that the community inform the police beforehand when they are going to host parties so that they can patrol the area.

“We are also asking our community to not leaves gates open or cars parked on the streets. We also ask residents to report any suspicious people or vehicles. Do not hesitate to contact the SAPS,” said Const Mahamba-Tsotsotso.
