Residents may soon see road repairs taking place in Edenvale.
In response to an enquiry sent out by the NEWS, the municipality’s brand and communications department said vehicles belonging to the Edenvale roads department were recently sent in for “Certificates of Fitness”.
“As a result, the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) was unable to attend to potholes,” the department said.
It also stated that the matter had been resolved and “the situation would be improving in a few weeks”.
During August, the NEWS called for residents to send in pictures of potholes in Edenvale and approximately 30 photographs were received.
