Speakers at the impromptu competition spoke about home affairs and provided different interpretations of the topic.

The Village Toastmasters held its impromptu and humorous competitions on August 19.

Speakers at the impromptu competition spoke about home affairs and provided different interpretations of the topic.

Following the impromptu competition was the humorous competition, which saw speakers Ms Elaine Bonney and Mr Edwin Wood, entertain the audience with their stories.

The winners of the impromptu and humorous competition were announced by competition chairperson, Ms Viviane Rozanski.

Mr Fabian Murray was chosen as the winner of the impromptu competition and Mr Edwin Wood was chosen as the winner of the humorous competition.

The two winners will go forward to the Area I4 competition, which is to be held on September 10, at Village Toastmasters.

Village Toastmasters meets on the third Tuesday of every month at the Trinity Presbyterian Church on the corner of St David and Koster Roads in Elma Park.
