Easterns U/14 prepares for tournaments
The team will compete in the inter-district tournament during the first week of October.
The Easterns U/14 soccer team held a training session at the Edenvale Sports Centre on Saturday, July 12.
The team will compete in the inter-district tournament during the first week of October. After the in-district tournament, the team will compete in a district tournament, which will be held in Durban during the second week of October.
The Easterns U/14 side features players from across the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality and is coached by Clinton Ducci, Leon Schelevis and Gerald Habib.
The coach and manager of the Easterns U/14 side, Mr Clinton Ducci said, “So far this season we have played two games, winning one and drawing one. For the two competitions in October, the players will be competing in their own age groups. We feel confident they will achieve in the competition.” @bedfordjourno
