The two men arrested in Edenvale this afternoon in connection with gate motor thefts have been positively linked to a case in Bedfordview in April.
“We believe the two can be connected to several other cases,” acting spokesperson for the Edenvale SAPS Lieutenant Colonel Robbie Roberts said.
He urged anyone who may have fallen victim to similar thefts to contact the Edenvale SAPS Detective branch on 011 553 8632 urgently.
Earlier today crime prevention officers from the Edenvale SAPS arrested two men after they stole a gate motor from a house in the Avenues.
The arrests took place shortly after the crime was committed this afternoon.
