Kirk Whalum comes to SA
Grammy Award winner Kirk Whalum’s and artist John Stoddart will perform in South Africa from July 23 to 25.
The Johannesburg and Pretoria audience will get a piece of his intimate tour segmented between the Best of Kirk Whalum and The Gospel According to Jazz.
Kirk is an internationally renowned saxophonist, jazz and gospel artist. John is a recording artist, songwriter and producer.
Details of the tour are as follows:
The Gospel According to Jazz event takes place on July 23 and 24 at Rhema Ministries at 7.30pm in Randburg and at A River Runs Through It in Centurion on July 26 at 7pm.
The Best of Kirk Whalum takes place on July 25 at Bassline in Newtown at 8:00pm, on July 26 at Bass
Bassline in Newtown and on July 27 at the Pretoria Botanical Gardens with supporting acts. Gates open at 11am.
