The SAPS is investigating a case of armed robbery after a man was the victim of an armed robbery.
The victim was followed from the Eastgate Shopping Centre recently.
According to the Bedfordview SAPS communications officer, Sergeant Mduduzi Nhlabathi, “The man was followed from Eastgate by three men in a white Toyota Avanza. When the man approached the Barbara Road off-ramp, one of the men in the Toyota flashed a police badge and instructed him to stop his vehicle.”
“The man stopped his vehicle and the three men exited the Toyota. One of the suspects was armed and instructed the man to hand over his belongings. The men searched the victim’s vehicle and stole cash.
Before fleeing the scene, the suspects also stole the victim’s car keys.
The men then threw the vehicle keys out the window while fleeing the scene,” said Sgt Nhlabathi. @BedfordEdenvale
