Senior citizen market well attended

The Morning Market featured foods such as curry and rice, hotdogs, cakes, boerewors rolls, coffee and tea. Various items such as books, arts and handcrafts were also on sale during the Morning Market.

Edenvale Senior Citizen office manager, Ms Lenie van Heerden said, “The Edenvale Senior Citizens Morning Market takes place twice a year. The funds we make during the market contribute towards the society.”

“The morning market was well attended by residents and we are happy about that. We, as the society, have to carry on engaging with the community and conducting these sorts of events. We look forward to the next one which takes place later this year,” said Ms van Heerden.
