Two Cowboys at the Lyric Theatre
Top South African artists will be performing hit songs that have spanned four generations at the Lyric Theatre on May 2.
Bobby Angel and Billy Forrest are the ‘Two Cowboys’.
Joining the Cowboys on the country music side are Charles Rudd and Dalene, who will perform love songs and duets.
Eddie Eckstein, from The Bats, will combine comedy with some singing.
The show closes with the undisputed king of rock and pop music in South Africa, “The Rocker”. Dennis East will deliver a foot stomping performance that has audiences rocking to medleys of songs from Creedence Clearwater Revival in between his own big hit songs from the seventies and eighties. He was the lead singer with The Rising Suns and Stingray.
