Collision leaves two in critical condition
The Netcare helicopter was despatched to airlift one of the men to hospital, while the second injured man was rushed to hospital.
Two men are in a critical condition following a collision between two trucks on the R24 in Bedfordview on Wednesday night, April 9.
Paramedics from Netcare, Emer-G-Med and other services responded to the scene.
Ms Santi Steinmann, the media liaison officer of Netcare 911 said, “On arriving at the scene, we found two men in a critical condition after two trucks were involved in a rear-end collision. The Netcare helicopter was despatched to airlift one of the men to hospital, while the second injured man was rushed to hospital.”
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by police officials.
