Friends clean up farm

The Friends of Horwood’s Farm conducted the first clean-up of the year on March 8.

Ms Sharon Lendrum-Frittelli, from the Friends of Horwood’s Farm said, “We have picked up the litter around the homestead with the goal of keeping the area clean. A local security company, local councillors as well as residents came out in support of the clean-up.”

“It is of the utmost importance we preserve this area because Horwood’s Farm is the oldest heritage site in the Edenvale area. The issue of vandalism has haunted this area since 2009. It is aggravating that this is happening. This site needs to be maintained because there is enormous heritage value,” said Ms Frettelli.
