The following message was sent by the school:
“Sacred Heart College notes with sadness the passing of Nelson Mandela. We remember him as a special parent and grandparent who took an intense interest in education. We also remember his gracious generosity and love of children. His presence was felt around the world and we will continue to be inspired by his example. With deep sympathy to his family and friends,” the board, management, staff and learners of Sacred Heart College.
