It is the 2013 Last Man Stands (LMS) Castle League Challenge.

20 teams will take to the fields at Jeppe Quondam and Elandspark School to battle it out for first place and a cash prize from December 11 to December 16.

The 10 over version of the game promises to be action-packed with each game lasting roughly an hour.

While teams play in two divisions, supporters and fans can look forward to music, children’s entertainment, braai’s and bar facilities.

December 12 and December 13 night games will be played at Jeppe Quondam, while from December 14 to December 16 day games will be played at Jeppe Quondam as well as Elandspark School.

The first place team will walk away with a cash prize while second and third places will be able to enjoy their rewards in beer.

Each team will play two games, excluding the semi-finals and the finals.

In each division, the four teams with the highest combined final score for both games will advance through to the semi-finals.

The semi-finals will be played on Monday, December 16 at Jeppe Quondam in a sudden death knockout format of the game with the two top teams advancing to the finals.

Only the top two teams will play for first and second place, with third place automatically going to the team with the highest cumulative run rate including semi-final games.
