A husband and wife were held up and robbed in their home on David Street in Bedfordview, on Tuesday, October 15.
According to the Bedfordview SAPS communications officer, Sergeant Mduduzi Nhlabathi, “The man was at home when four armed men walked in and pointed a gun at him. The men instructed the victim to lie on the floor before tying him up. The thieves demanded he show them where his safe was and all his valuables.”
The victim’s wife walked in during the robbery and was also tied up and told to lie on the floor.
“The suspects fled the scene with laptops, ipods and jewellery,” said Sgt Nhlabathi.
