Water interruptions for Bedfordview

Bedfordview will be without water due water supply interruption in parts of the area on Monday, October 21 from 8am to 4pm.
Residents will also be without water on Wednesday, October 23 from 8am until 1pm.
According to the spokesperson for the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, Mr Sam Modiba, “The interruption is due to essential upgrades to the water network on the corner of Townsend and Van Buuren Road. The affected areas include Townsend road, Van Buuren Road (East of Harper road), Riley Road, Protea Street as well as Grobler Street.
“Water tankers will, however, be made available to service the affected areas for the duration of the water supply interruption on both occasions. Residents are advised to keep all their taps closed for the duration of the interruption,” he added
The municipality apologised for the inconvenience.
