St Benedict’s Cricket Day

More than 350 cricketers participated on the day.

St Benedict’s College hosted a cricket day on October 5, which saw all three schools, the junior preparatory, preparatory and college, participate.

The junior preparatory school hosted 24 mini-cricket sides that were sponsored by KFC, the preparatory school hosted The St Benedict’s Super Sixes Edition II, sponsored by Gunn and Moore, and the college hosted its first fixture of the season against St Stithians.

More than 350 cricketers participated on the day.

Tom Newby won by five wickets in the Super Sixes Cup final. The game ended with Tom Newby scoring 58/0 against St Dunstan’s 57/2 after 5 overs.

Saheti School won the Plate final 79/3 after five overs against Orion, who were 68 all out. Saheti won by 11 runs.

BN Academy won the Bowl final 88/1 after five overs against Leicester Road, who scored 81/1. BN Academy won by seven runs.
