The event will consist of a 4,2km and 8,4km race and starts at 8am.
Saheti School is situated in Civin Drive, Senderwood.
Advocate George Bizos will walk the first 420 metres of the marathon and about 1 200 participants are expected to take part in the event.
The aim of the initiative is to raise funds for an additional full award for the George Bizos Saheti Scholarship and Bursary Fund (GBSSBF).
The fund attracts and assists pupils of outstanding ability who are in financial need to access secondary education at Saheti School.
The marathon is a fun family event that is open to members of the public from age four to 100.
