“100 cases have been finalised and 59 are at an advanced stage of finalisation. Council will receive an update on progress with regards to these cases,” said executive mayor Clr Mondli Gungubele.
He added that the department is currently reinforcing its resource capacity.
“Various positive things are happening in our metro – all in the name of better service delivery to our people. Great progress is being made in various areas, especially in the IT, internal audit and waste management sectors,” added Clr Gungubele.
He said once all the turn-around plans and strategies have been finalised, he will share them with the council.
