No stopping Toni Jardine

Edenvale resident, Toni Jardine, is back in action after breaking her hand in Spain which forced her take time out from her racing schedule.

Her first off-road bike race was the Desert 1000, where on day one Toni had to pull out due to bike problems but still managed to compete on day two, where she picked up second place in the woman’s challenge.

Next up was the Bell 400, held in Vryheid.

Toni put her trusty Roost EC Security KTM EXC 200 to the test against her closest rival Taye Perry, who was on board a KTM EXC 450 and managed to pull off a win by a mere two seconds between them in the ladies class.

Toni then went on to complete the full-distance race where she finished fourth in the Off Road 4 Class.

The following weekend saw Toni, the only female competitor to take part in the Pilgrims Rest National Enduro, where she managed to place fourth out of a field of 15 Silver Class riders putting her in third place overall for the season.
