Bedfordview Primary hosts rugby tournament

The tournament is being held to develop rugby among the schools, grow the sport and allow the learners to have some friendly competition.

Rugby fun was the order of the day when schools from the surrounding areas descended on Bedfordview Primary School.

The developmental rugby tournament was held on September 9.

It attracted schools such as Alberview Primary School, Waterstone College Primary School, Jeppe High Preparatory School, Hurlyvale Primary School, Pinnacle College Founders Hill, Reddam House Bedfordview, St Declan’s School for Boys, Robertsham Primary School and the hosts Bedfordview Primary School.

Hurlyvale Primary School and Pinnacle College Founders Hill locked in a scrum.

Running over several weeks each school in the area gets an opportunity to host the tournament.
