Karaglen SuperSpar supports SA rowers

It is the same venue that will host to the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games rowing regattas.

The 2023 South African U19 rowing team set off to represent SA at the World Rowing U19 Championships in France.

Comprising 15 dedicated and talented athletes, three of which are learners at Holy Rosary School, the team will be accompanied by five equally dedicated coaches.

The championships were held from August 2 to 6 at Vaires-sur-Marne, 35km from the centre of Paris.

The team departed for the championships on July 27.

In support of the national team representing SA, Karaglen SUPERSPAR sponsored the squad with travel bags.

Before leaving SA, the local learners, Riemann, Gomes and Roetger personally thanked Harry Karamichael, owner of the SPAR for his support.
