Iyoni Creek raises funds for care centre

After reading in the Bedfordview Edenvale News that Edenvale Care Centre Hospice needed funding, Rand Aid’s Inyoni Creek residents hosted a fundraising tea for the organisation.

Initiated by resident Peter Moore, plans for the tea started when he reached out to the retirement village’s residents for assistance.

Peter approached Dugald Patterson, who is renowned for his delicious scones, while Peter’s wife, Shirley, donated teddy bears she knits for charity, which were sold at the tea to raise funds for Hospice.
