Learners of Sacred Heart College knit for a good cause
Sacred Heart College knit club hosts learners from other schools to knit for Mandela Day.

Sacred Heart College hosted a Saturday knit/crochet brunch for 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day.

Over 100 students from six different schools were in attendance.

The event created an opportunity for learners to make new connections in their ever-growing community.
The school said learners had a lovely morning filled with chats, knitting and crocheting, and are hoping to host many more.
The Knitwit Club is run by Grade 12 learners Grace Bedi and Zainub Muhammed.
