As Edenvale Football Club prepares for the upcoming season, the club’s U13 premier division team were spotted playing a friendly match against Boksburg Football Club.

The teams took to the field on February 25 at Edenvale Sports Grounds.
According to coach Marco Di Giovampaolo, there are some quality teams in the premier division.
“Hopefully, we can stand our own.”
He said the team has a lot of new players so they are hoping to build a strong team for the season, which is set to kick off after Easter.

Giovampaolo said the team did not train as much as he would have liked because of the recent wet weather,
He said by playing various friendlies, players will be selected for the premier team as well as the U13 first team.
