Bedfordview CPF hosts victims’ support workshop
The objective of the workshops is to equip teams with the skill and knowledge on how to assist victims and authorities at a scene.
CPF members from far and wide recently attended a victims support workshop hosted by Bedfordview CPF.

Held on November 23, Edenvale CPF was one of the forums invited to attend.
Members from Benoni, Cleveland, Bedfordview, Dawn Park, Sebenza CPFs and Sebenza SAPS also attended the workshop
Bedfordview CPF hosts monthly workshops covering the different responsibilities of CPF responders and patrollers.
Edenvale CPF’s Fiona Picket said the objective of the workshops is to equip teams with the skills and knowledge on how to assist victims and authorities at a scene.

It was facilitated by Melissa Olivier (Roodepoort CPF’s victim support and trauma facilitator) and Carolyn Williams (Bedfordview CPF’s victim support).
Picket said the day also allowed CPF members to network with each other.
