Local dance crew nominated for big award
The dance crew has been recognized by the Zikomo Africa Awards for their tremendous work in the entertainment industry.
The renowned Pantsula Red Devils are a nominee for the Zinkomo Africa Awards in the category of best professional dancer/dancing ensemble of the year in Africa.

Zikomo Awards is an international award ceremony that recognises people and organisations making positive contributions and succeeding in a variety of fields, such as art and entrepreneurship.
The event will take place on October 15.
The dancing crew is making a name for themselves as they were nominated for the esteemed awards.
Solly Phahlamohlaka, the group’s leader, says they are excited upon learning that they are nominated.
“Having been nominated feels fantastic. This is quite thrilling for us because we have never before been nominated for anything.

“We want to show the people of Ekasi that with motivation, dreams can come true, that individuals should be resolute to put effort into their jobs and that they can succeed in life despite obstacles.
“We intend to bring the trophy home and inspire everyone,” said Phahlamohlaka.
