Its vision is to become a capable and progressive youth forum contributing toward educational development, poverty alleviation and social and economic development.

Douglas Nelwamondo, the founder, said they desire to find solutions to social development challenges threatening the lives of the most vulnerable communities, especially across Ekurhuleni.

“We have programmes in place, but we need more sponsors. We are supported by the City of Ekurhuleni, Tshepo One Million and NYDA, to mention a few,” said Nelwamondo.

“We empower the youth through education. We believe that all forms of education are critical to fuel social stability and growth in improving the standard of living of every citizen in each community,” he said.

“To make a visible contribution towards the alleviation of poverty, unemployment and social and economic growth of our society through educational efforts, we need to inspire the youth to attain a higher level and improved standard of living to achieve a sustainable quality of life.

“We operate in three regions of the city – the south, north and the east accommodating areas like Benoni, Kempton Park, Germiston and Katlehong amongst others.”

The sports, arts and recreation programme helps sports organisations find sponsors.

Through the back-to-school programme, the NPO helps people to go back to school to complete their qualifications or their matric.
