Police in Ekurhuleni do their bit for Mandela Day

While at the home officers cleaned and fed the residents with the assistance of Little Eden staff.

Members of Sebenza SAPS visited Little Eden Society where they spent time with residents and staff on Mandela Day.

On July 18 the station’s social crime coordinator, sector managers, communications officer and Flash officer dedicated 67 minutes of their day to assisting the Edenvale home.

Sebenza Police Station’s communications officer Sergeant Sharron Tsotsotso said officers cleaned and fed the residents with the assistance of Little Eden staff.

Officers were also given a tour of the home.

Little Eden cares for 300 children and adults with profound intellectual disabilities. It has two homes.

One is located in Edenvale and another in Bapsfontein.
