2022 marks the 55 years of the society providing love, care, dignity, and respect to over a thousand children and adults with profound intellectual disability, who have come through its doors since inception.

To help the society celebrate this milestone and support its residents, Little Eden appealed to the community to donate items to its charity shop.

Located at De Sun Place, 33 Eighth Avenue in Edenvale Little Eden Society’s charity shop is low on items.

Rethabile Lechela, Little Eden Society’s public relations and communications co-ordinator said the shop is in desperate need of donations.

Community members can assist by donating items such as second-hand clothes, furniture, books, kitchenware, linen, appliances, toys or bric-a-brac.

Rethabile said all funds raised through the operation of Little Eden’s Charity Shop go directly towards the care of the 300 children and adults with profound intellectual disability.
